Amendment to Command Structure

Stardate: 61010.40

Due to the expansion of the Federation boarders over the last 40 years, the Military Council+, split the command structure into two Regions. This enabled decisions, that required Starfleet Headquarters approval, quicker. Twice as many high raking officers now serve on the Military Council. These Regions shall be called, Region One and Region Two.

+ = the Military council is made up by the following officers:

Supreme Commander
Chief of Military Staff
Chief of Security Reg 1 & Reg 2
Chief of Operations Reg 1 & Reg 2
Chief of Engineering Reg 1 & Reg 2
Chief of Medical Reg 1 & Reg 2
Chief of Sciences Reg 1 & Reg 2
Fleet Commander 1 thru 7

Above Officers range from a 2 star Admiral to a 5 star Admiral.

5 star - Supreme Commander
4 star - Chief of Military Staff
3 star - Division Chiefs
2 star - Fleet Commanders

All Starfleet wide decisions must be approved by the Military Council before being taken to the Federation Council for final approval.

Starbase Commanders are 1 star Admirals and do not hold seats on the Military Council.
