Particulars:

The Zadvark is a biped marsupial. After giving birth to generally three(3) off-spring, the fetus then makes it's way to one of the three(3) pouches to continue gestation. The frigid climate of their home planet requires the pups to remain under parental protection for an excess of one(1) standard year.

Outstanding physical features are as follows. The eyes of this species are mounted on the end of an apparent antennae once used for sensory perception. Each eye acts independent of the other. A long trunk like extremity protrudes from the upper structure of the creature. This is a multi-functional appendage, used for manipulation of objects, communication and mating. A a rutund type body, stout tail and humanoid feet, complete the structure. This species is omni-sexual in nature, gestation is possible with no apparent mate. This gestation will take place once every twelve standard months, if the female of the species is not available. There is no apparent difference between the sexes. The rare purple Zadvark is found in the northern most regions of the planet. Extensive research is being done on this lovable creature.
